bInTune Cares believes that the destiny of the world is in the hands of our youth and, in that spirit, is working diligently to promote peace, harmony, cooperation, and understanding among all peoples and nations of the earth.

Our mission is to support programs that provide young people with strong, enduring, one-to-one relationships that develop each individual's leadership potential and change their lives for the better, forever. We seek to identify and prepare emerging leaders and entrepreneurs in marketing, finance, government, and management in high schools and colleges around the globe.

Eugene Maillard

Gene Maillard has been championing the role of an educational leader of the 21st Century since his days as the CEO of Very Special Arts (VSA) at the Kennedy Center. His years of experience provide him with a broad base of expertise in both public and private sectors, for-profit and non-profit arenas, both on national and domestic levels. He is the former Executive Director of The GRAMMY Foundation, and now serves as the CEO of the B InTune Media and B InTuneCARES. Mr. Maillard worked with countries of Japan and Korea and FIFA to secure the 2002 World Cup and was the driving force in securing grants and sponsorships from major companies such as Ford Motor Company and Coke-Cola. Through his efforts, he was able to organized mentoring effort for youngsters and many International Arts Events and Festivals for children with disabilities working with the late Pope John Paul II that included an Emmy Award-winning prime-time television special “From the Heart” he executive-produced, which also featured the renowned rock group U2.


Zarah (pronounced as Zay-rah) is an accomplished recording artist and TV personality with a flair for educating youth utilizing her creative talents. She uses music as a powerful tool to inspire teens through various educational excellence programs. As a Recognized and Honored host of “B InTune TV” television series, a nationally syndicated show for and about teens broadcasting in millions of households in America, Zarah has worked with the who’s who in the entertainment industry. She is both the Co-Founder and a board member of the B InTune Media and B InTuneCARES TM—which focuses all initiatives into furthering music and arts education for children. Zarah also served as a Co-Chairman honoring the 35th Philadelphia Film Festival in Philadelphia and co-founded an LA-based entertainment company, Bel-Air Entertainment Group. In addition, she co-hosted the radio special “B InTune with U2 @30” featuring U2 and has performed with the Goo Goo Dolls all across the country. Zarah is currently working on her first novel and continues to be involved in developing film and television projects.
